Different softwares and their various purposes

Photo Editing

Photoshop will be your go to software for photo editing. It is a tool used by people of all sorts in order to retouch images, create mock ups, adding effects, etc. Whether you are a designer, web developer or just someone who does this for a hobby, Photoshop is great for all reasons stated previously. Its great for digital images and is even effective in print.

Videos

If you are in need of doing any serious video editing then you are in need of adobe premiere. Premiere is another software by adobe’s creative cloud line. Its uses include bringing in video, graphics and audio that can be used to create new and different videos that can be later exported. It is also possible to string still frames together to make videos as well as add headings to it.

Animations

As its name explains, adobe animate is used for creating animations. Things that you can accomplish include cartoons, gifs, create flash games etc. Anything that you need to animate can be done in animate. Animation can also be done in Photoshop with very simple gifs but nothing anywhere as complex as what you can do in animate.

Web Design

For web design, we need the help of adobe Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver is an HTML editor that aids in the process of web design. You can access and edit HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc. Its also somewhat beginner friendly but in order to get the most out of it you should be well acquainted with the programming languages mentioned above.

Printing

For printing there are a few of the adobe softwares that are good for this. Illustrator is comparable to Photoshop. Illustrator is a graphic driven, vector based program meaning that it doesn’t work with pixels. Indesign is a program that is great for working on flyers, brochures, and other types of information based documents. Photoshop was mentioned previously.
